Ali’s practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, as well as fiduciary and trust disputes. She has represented, on both sides of the docket, trust beneficiaries, directors and shareholders of corporations (both individually and derivatively), members of limited liability companies, mineral owners and individuals and families in a wide variety of matters including, but not limited to, matters involving claims for: breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, tortious interference, business disparagement, aiding and abetting, fraudulent transfer, negligence, conversion and insurance coverage. Ali has also represented companies seeking to prevent the public disclosure of trade secret and commercial data.
Ali already respects the unique nature of disputes between family members and business partners. She places substantial value on understanding the specific priorities of her clients and is mindful of the fact that these matters usually involve highly-complex personal and business relationships that do not exist in a legal vacuum.
A graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and the University of Texas School of Law, Ali works diligently to tell her clients’ stories in a way that is both persuasive to the factfinder and authentic to the client.

TJ Jones
ASSOCIATE
BIO
TJ Jones is a skilled advocate who wasted no time in developing his young legal career in the Dallas area. He recently joined forces with Gruber Hail Johansen Shank to serve clients in the complex commercial litigation and employment disputes.
Before joining the firm in July 2016, TJ worked as a defense litigation associate in the Dallas area. During this time, he advanced his skill in the essential areas of litigation practice such as drafting and responding to discovery, authoring dispositive motions, and researching essential areas of law to better his client’s legal position. Prior to obtaining his law license in November of 2015, TJ spent his last year of law school in the acclaimed Practice Court program at Baylor Law School, while simultaneously serving as the 3L Student Bar Association President and competing on three separate Mock Trial teams. During this experience, he earned the Beckworth, Hollingsworth and Stephens Trial Advocacy Award’ and the ‘Fraley & Fraley Mock Trial Award’, and was a Quarter Finalist advocate in the TYLA National Trial Competition.
