MICHAEL J. SCHLUTERMAN

Michael Schluterman is a litigation attorney who approaches each matter with a strong foundation in advocacy and trial strategy. He draws on extensive advocacy training to analyze complex legal issues, develop persuasive arguments, and position cases for efficient and effective resolution.
Michael earned his J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law, where he was deeply involved in competitive advocacy. He served as Chair of the Board of Advocates, overseeing the school’s off-campus mock trial, moot court, and alternative dispute resolution teams. In recognition of his advocacy achievements, he was named the Fred C. Moss Outstanding Graduating Advocate for the Class of 2023.
Michael remains actively involved in advocacy education as an adjunct professor at SMU Dedman School of Law and as a mock trial coach, where he works with students on courtroom strategy, argument development, and trial presentation.
